Processes of care development provided by medical social workers for patients with high-energy injuries and their families presenting to advanced emergency critical are centers
This study aimed to elucidate the processes of care development provided by medical social workers(MSWs) for the patients with high-energy injuries and their families presenting to advanced emergency critical care centers. This study used the modified theory approach as a method of qualitative research.We collected data from interviews with nine MSWs working at an advanced treatment hospital. MSWs' instructional roles in encouraging better family functions during their initial part of the emergency care and their support processes exploring patient/family functions their approaches that can be applied in similar occupational scenes and patient/family situations. |
