A Diary Study of State Self-esteem Using the Two-Item Self-Esteem Scale (TISE) : Comparing Paper-and-Pencil and Web-Based Survey in Japanese University Students
In order to confirm the validity of the state self-esteem measurement using the two-item self-esteem scale, we conducted a diary study to measure state self-esteem every evening in a week by two methods, the paper-writing version and the Web survey version. The validity of the measurement was confirmed regardless of the difference in the method, with positive correlations with the state self-esteem scale made by previous studies, positive / negative daily event experiences, and positive / negative daily emotional experiences. |
